Cl\u00c3\u00a9mence Audilard is a highly renowned psychiatrist, a wealthy and influential woman with a very serious and established practice. After an exhausting day, she decides to rest for a bit and fantasizes; in a bright heavenly room, a mysterious woman appears and intimately pleases her. The experience feels real and overwhelming–then Cl\u00c3\u00a9mence suddenly snaps out of it. The next morning, she’s tired and unsettled. She calls her assistant and says she can only see two patients that day.<\/p>\n\n\n
During her first session, we never see the patient’s face. As the patient speaks, flashes of Cl\u00c3\u00a9mence’s fantasy keep intruding into her mind. Distracted and slightly shaken, she kindly but awkwardly sends the patient home. Just as she closes the door, someone immediately knocks again. The timing feels strange–almost unsettling.
